Rune Factory 5 Was Able To Happen Because of Nintendo Switch
When is Rune Factory 5 coming again? Why is it finally coming out now?
Rune Factory is very much a fan-favorite series, and for a while, a call for a 5th major entry has been asked for. Yet, the team at Marvelous weren’t sure if they were actually going to do it. In an interview, the team noted that while the desire was there, the question of what system to put it on was a bit uncertain.
Then, the Nintendo Switch came along, and it was doing really good. So it was then that they decided to make Rune Factory 5. But, it won’t be the only Rune Factory game coming to the Switch. A port of the 3DS Rune Factory 4 is coming out this year to “refresh” gamers memories of the franchise. Then the 5th entry will arrive next year.
