Pokemon Sun and Moon Have Sold 4.5 Million Copies!
Nintendo has released a statement saying that Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, the latest in the fan-favorite and worldwide phenomenon series, has sold a combined 4.5 million copies.
What’s significant about this is two-fold. First, these are the fastest games in Nintendo history to reach this milestone, even though you’re combining them. The games have only been out two months, quite literally as they were released November 18th, and the numbers would’ve been compile before the press release was announced.
This just goes to prove that even 20 years on the market can’t slow Pokemon down. And, with the news that a Pokemon game would be coming to the Nintendo Switch, quite possibly Pokemon Stars, there’s a chance that the fanbsae could be growing even more in the upcoming months.
