Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu And Eevee Confirmed For Switch

What’s Pokemon titles are coming to Nintendo Switch this year? Was the leak about Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee real?

Nintendo has been teasing some big things for Pokemon on the Nintendo Switch, and this week, they unveiled Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. These games will be set in the region of Kanto and will feature all 151 original Pokemon. It’ll also bring the Alolan forms of the Kanto Pokemon from the recent Sun and Moon games.

Now, it needs to be said that these aren’t “core” Pokemon titles. Rather, they’re fusions of the core games and Pokemon GO, the hit mobile title. In example, the overworld will be modeled after the core games, and there will even be Pokemon Trainer battles. But, when it comes to capturing Pokemon, it’ll become like Pokemon GO, where you’ll be using motion to hurl a Poke Ball at a Pokemon to try and catch it.

There will be online features, but not as many as the core title. In a twist though, there will be co-op.

Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee will arrive on Nintendo Switch on November 16th. You can check out the reveal trailer for the game below.
