No “Greed” In Cyberpunk 2077 Says CD Projekt Red
What is CD Projekt Red doing with Cyberpunk 2077? Are they going to do what EA and others have been doing with their games?
There’s been a lot of fear going around recently with video games. Mainly because many companies are seeing “games as a service”, and are charging players more and more just to enjoy the games outside of buying them outright. EA has been the biggest perpatrator in this, and many fear others will follow.
This includes CD Projekt Red, who many fans fear will manipulate their upcoming title Cyberpunk 2077 to fit this model. But, the developer decide to fire back at these notions. Stating:
