Bethesda Softworks released some new material today for the latest member of the roster for Quake Champions, Galena. You can check out a new reveal trailer for Galena in the player below.

Galena is an “Unholy Paladin” for the game, acting as both a hero and warrior for the game. She can revive allies with healing powers and also dish out some devastating damage to enemies. At four years old, Galena was given away as an offering to the Celebrants of Volkerh. As a result, she has become very powerful.

Galena is among the more resilient characters in the game. She wields an Unholy Totem and Channeling abilities. Additionally, Bethesda describes her as hard to frag. The character will have a starting health of 100, starting armor of 25, and speed of 280. Her active ability is the Unholy Totem. During combat, the Totem can heal both Galena and her allies, while also causing damage to her enemies. Her Passive ability is the Channeling. This enables Galena to eliminate five percent of her Active Ability cooldown whenever she picks up a health bubble.

Quake Champions is due out later this year. The game will be available exclusively for Windows PC. You can also check out some new screenshots of Galena in the gallery below. Click on the thumbnails to see the fullsize images (Courtesy of Bethesda):
