by on March 25, 2016

Ubisoft has issued its latest State of the Game report for Tom Clancy’s The Division, which hints at new end-game activities arriving for the game in the near future. It could be a part of the upcoming April content update. Ubisoft just released a new patch for The Division that tweaked The Dark Zone and more.

Per the report, “Coming soon, we will be introducing new end-game activities. You say you want more info? Don’t worry, we’ll talk more about this big upcoming update within the next few days.” The nature of these activities is unknown, but more details will be shed incredibly soon. It seems the official Twitch channel for the game suggests the full reveal could happen as soon as Tuesday, March 29. You can check out that message at this link.

Some new post-launch content that has been announced will be the Incursions for the game. The Incurisons are a new end-game activity developed for squad play. Ubisoft added: “Teams will be able to test their skills as they face seemingly unstoppable enemies to gain high-level weapons and equipment. This update will also add one of the community’s most-wanted feature, loot trading; allowing players in the same group to trade loot collected during a co-op game session.”

I tried out the Beta for this a little while ago. I was really into it personally, but I definitely see the appeal that it might have with other gamers. I guess I just prefer more fantasy settings to this kind of realistic landscape.
