Mass Effect Andromeda Has Over 1200 Characters!

by on March 13, 2017

The universe of Mass Effect is truly massive. Between humans, Krogans, Turians, Asari, Geth, Quarians, and much more, there’s a lot of voices to be heard. Throughout the original Mass Effect trilogy, we heard many of them. However, in Mass Effect Andromeda, we’re going to be hearing a lot more.

At PAX East Mass Effect: Andromeda creative director Mac Walters talked about the impressive amount of characters that Andromeda would have in-game, even noting that it would double what Mass Effect 3 had in terms of characters you could talk to.

“The lines of dialogue we have in Andromeda is like Mass Effect 2 and 3 combined,” Gamble said. “So the number of characters is vaster, but the amount of stuff you and that character can talk about is also larger — especially the squad, we definitely focused in on the squad.”

This means that there is much more to do, talk about, and say in Mass Effect Andromeda than arguably the entire series combined. An impressive feat from the team at Bioware.

Mass Effect Andromeda arrives March 21st.
