Well, it looks like the access for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game is expanding. CD Projekt RED officially announced this weeks that there will be a PlayStation 4 Technical beta for the digital card game. This will start with a weekend-long Technical Beta sessionf or the card game.
Additionally, CD Projekt RED released an official FAQ page on the event, which you can check out at the above link. The Technical Beta will kick off for the PlayStation 4 on Friday, March 31 at 19:00 CEST. The Technical Beta ends on Monday, April 3 at 09:00 CEST. Players can download the beta from the online PlayStation Store.
The beta will be accessible for gamers in Europe, North America and South America regions. According to the announcement, players will be able to create their own decks, play the tutorial and casual online matches. The purpose of the beta test will be to test how the game works on PlayStation 4 while many users are playing simultaneously. Currently, there are no plans to extend the beta test.
The best news is that players will not need a PlayStation Plus subscription to access the Technical Beta. The game has already had closed betas for Windows PC and Xbox One. It’s great to hear that the PlayStation 4 version is finally happening as well.
