Guild Wars 2 – have You Seen It ?
It’s almost here and the sound of battle is flooding the air with preview chatter. The fifth expansion of Guild Wars 2 comes out next week. After seeing a few pieces it’s easy to conclude there is not much ado. Both PC Gamer and MMORPG.com gave little insight into the new season.
According to PC Gamer, there is a tour guide ready to drag you around the new maps.

However, MMORPG.com gave us a bit more insight into this guide who is a female, and not just any female.
Aside from my general interest in Waiting Sorrow, she’s crucial now as the search for her seems to be what leads us into the wilds of Janthir. We learn that not only did she leave with her Wizard powers intact, but she left sometime before the Searing of Ascalon. This means she’s been missing for about 267 years…
This piqued my interest and made me want to find out more, about what did she do or say. How is the interaction? As for the PC Gamer adventure, they skipped right over to he Warclaw. Just in case you are new, here is a reminder.
The Warclaw was first added to Guild Wars 2 back in 2019, as the designated mount for the World vs World game mode. You could equip it in PvE, but really there wasn’t any reason to. Unlike other mounts, it didn’t offer any special traversal option. It had no role outside of the ability to use it in a competitive game mode.
This seems to be a special place now as both websites are digging into details about it. Here is MMORPG.com take
When I’d jump on the warclaw, it would act as if it had landed on an invisible platform in midair. From there, I could continue to dash forward or jump up higher until it ran out of stamina.
You can find more details on the upcoming or just wait for the update trailer.
