Check Out Combat Gameplay Footage for Torment: Tides of Numenera!

inXile Entertainment and Techland Publishing today revealed a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming RPG, Torment: Tides of Numenera. This game is the new successor to Planescape: Torment. You can check out the new trailer, showcasing new footage of the game’s combat, in the player below.

Based on the trailer, the game has an intricate combat and abilities system with several different tears. Players will have the ability to resolve conflicts in bloodless ways as well by using deception, persuasion or stealth. Decisions can also have major consequences toward the gameplay. Weak attempts might mean combat is the only way to solve a conflict and blood will have to be spilled. The video offers a look at how players can come out on the winning side of combat situations.

Players will have a number of intricate gameplay choices and consequences throughout Tides of Numenera. As a result, every playthrough of the game will be unique.

Torment: Tides of Numenera launches on February 28. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
