Final Fantasy XV Director Apologizes For Leaks About Title!

by on November 22, 2016

A wave of video leaks has hit the internet, showing off the upcoming Final Fantasy XV, which arrives in one week. These leaks contain big spoilers, and are causing fans to get very angry.

The director of the game, Hajime Tabata, spoke with IGN during a livestream about the leaks, and apologized profusely because of what they had done:

“I’d really like to apologize to people out there that these kinds of problems are happening. It’s just a very sad state of affairs.

We’re currently looking into whether these kinds of activities, spreading these spoilers across the internet, does legally constitute obstruction of our business or not. And if it’s found it does then we will take legal measures to stop these being posted and take them down. We apologize for all the problems caused and all this worry and angst being caused. But we are taking solid steps to address this.

People have been waiting such a long time, and it’s just not really fair to spoil the fun of other people. So just stop that right now.”

Final Fantasy XV arrives November 29th.
