The latest expansion in the world of The Elder Scrolls Online is right around the corner. Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Online Studios officially revealed some new details this week for the upcoming launch for The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind. The new expansion for the game is due out next month. According to Bethesda, the upcoming launch in June will be a global event, and servers will be going live worldwide simultaneously to allow players to start their adventures in the realm of Vvardenfell.
ZeniMax Online Studios also revealed that the Morrowind serves will go live at 5:00 am US Eastern Time. The launch will follow a maintenance period during which game servers will be down while they are updated to support the new Vvardenfell adventures. Additionally, retailers will allow players to purchase the game and pick up their pre-orders in advance to allow for pre-loarding.
For North America, customers can pick up The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind on the evening of June 5 starting at 9:00 pm EST. In Europe, players can start picking up their games when retail stores open on the morning of June 6.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is due out on June 6 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
