E3 2019: Nintendo Teases Breath of the Wild Sequel
Is a Breath Of The Wild really coming? Will it be like the previous one?
The Legend of Zelda Breath Of The Wild was a big reason why the Nintendo Switch started out as hot as it did. And it is the best-selling Zelda game of all time. Nintendo had previous confirmed that the next game in the franchise was in development, but now, via E3 2019, we know more.
Because at the end of their E3 Direct, they revealed that not only was the next Zelda game in the works, it’s a direct sequel to BOTW. And based on what we see, this is going to be a very dark tale in Hyrule. Not only that, we can tell by the look of Zelda herself that this is taking place some time after the events of the original game. And that the threat that now faces Hyrule is buried deep beneath the ground.
