Later this month, the Witcher Geralt of Rivia will go on his final quest in Blood and Wine, the final DLC expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. CD Projekt RED dropped the launch trailer for the story expansion today. You can check out the “Final Quest” preview in the player below.
The latest trailer showcases some more story-related footage, giving more hints for Geralt’s last mission. In the expansion, Geralt travels to Toussaint, a remote land that has been untouched by war. He now has to unravel the secret behind a beast that’s terrorizing the kingdom. Only Geralt can solve the mystery and survive the evil lurking in the night. The expansion features a new region to explore, new characters and new monsters. Blood and Wine will have over 30 hours of new gameplay and some new Gwent card. One of the most exciting sequences is a knights’ tournament in a coliseum-like arena. That should be a cool moment. The new monsters look like a different type of vampire, which should be interesting. However, Geralt meeting a unicorn should be equally awesome.
The final DLC release for the award-winning game franchise is almost here. The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine arrives on May 31 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
