Check Out the New Trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic’s Next Expansion!

The Force is still with The Old Republic. EA and BioWare have released the latest trailer for the next expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic, which is called Knights of the Eternal Throne. You can check out the new trailer, which is completely a CG story trailer, in the player below. The expansion is due to arrive in December.

The latest video sets up the story for expansion, showcasing the characters of Emperor Valkorion and Empress Vaylin. In the new expansion, players will get to face powerful factions and spread their influence in the galaxy for the dark side of the Force or the light. Players will get the opportunity to decide who will live and who will die and make up their own Star Wars narrative.

The animation here is at least impressive, and it nicely sets the stage for the upcoming expansion. It would be neat if developers could do more of these CG movies but make them even longer, either as an episodic series or even a complete CG movie.

Star Wars The Old Republic – Knights of the Eternal Throne is slated to arrive on December 2. The expansion will be free to The Old Republic subscribers.
