React Games and Wired Productions have announced the launch of the new action-RPG style dungeon brawler, Super Dungeon Bros, is available. Additionally, you can check out a new launch trailer for the game in the player below.
The game is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC via Steam. The game is available for $19.99. Xbox Live Gold members will be able to get the game as a free digital download for the first month of the game’s sale. Additionally, the Broettes, four female counterparts to the Dungeon Bros, are also available as a free DLC from November 1 to November 15 across all platforms.
Speaking on the news in an official press release, Wired Productions Managing Director Leo Zullo stated: “We’re delighted to finally see the game hitting shelves and digital storefronts around the world. Super Dungeon Bros is a brilliantly fun game to play – whether that’s as a single player experience, in co-op or with three other bros in tow. It’s all about having fun and it’s no exaggeration to say that Super Dungeon Bros turns it up to eleven!”
React Games CEO Brad Moss added: “The game is the result of a tremendous ongoing effort by the React Games team. Super Dungeon Bros began life as a concept over two years ago, and to see the game now available at retail is a truly humbling experience; we can’t wait to share it with fans who have waited patiently to finally get their hands on the finished product.”
The game follows a group of heavy metal heroes who go on a quest in the fantasy realm of Rokheim to find loot, vanquish evil hordes, and uncover the legends of lost fabled rockers. The game features three worlds that have a heavy rock and roll theme. Besides Rokheim, there’s also the Cryptheim, Chillheim, and Bogheim. The game features a random room AI generator, so none of the dungeons will ever appear twice. The game will also feature daily and weekly challenges for players to test themselves in the rankings on the leaderboards.
