Check Out a New Story Trailer for The Surge!
Focus Home Interactive and Deck 13 revealed a new gameplay video this week for the upcoming action-RPG The Surge. You can check out the new video, “Bad Day at the Office,” in the player below. The new CGI trailer offers a look at the first day on the job for the Warren character at CREO, the mega-corporation that is out to save the dystopian world of the game.
Warren, the game’s protagonist, is newly recruited as an augmented worker. However, there’s a catastrophic even within CREO during the surgical operation meant to graft the exo-suit for company employees. It’s the first in a series of brutal events causing a nightmare at CREO. The robots of the company go berserk. Employees with cranial implants go crazy. All the AI in the facility now want Warren dead.
Warren now has to face a fight for survival using whatever tools of CREO he can scavenge. The gameplay will feature a limitless amount of armament combinations for players to mess around with for Warrent’s exo-suit.
The Surge arrives later this May. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. More on The Surge is going to be revealed at l What’s Next de Focus event in Paris from February 1-2.
