New Breath of The Wild Image Invokes Original LOZ Game
It’s not uncommon for games in the same franchise to reference previous titles in the series. In fact, it’s a way for the developers to hide lovely little “Easter Eggs” for players to go and hunt for. For Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild though, the comparisons are becoming more blatant.
In a post on the Nintendo of America Twitter feed, the team welcomed in the new year with this image:
That’s an interesting image. Especially when you compare it to one of the original images from Legend of Zelda. I.E., the very first game.
As you can see, the only difference are the looks of Link, and the updated graphics. This isn’t the first time that Nintendo has done a spot-on reference to the original Legend of Zelda. As numerous parts of the Breath Of The Wild world are based on sections from the first title. Including Skull Rock, various specific mountains, and more.
Could there be a more significant tie between these two titles? Only time will tell.
That is really interesting. I have to admit I had no idea what to really expect when I was clicking on the link, but that picture really sucked me in, and for good reason.
