Black Desert Online’s Opening Cinematic Has Arrived! Check Out the New Video Narrated by Tay Zonday!

The new MMORPG Black Desert Online is still a bit away from its full launch next month. However, Daum Games went ahead and released the game’s opening cinematic, which you can check out in the player below. The video features narration from YouTube star Tay Zonday, and it gives insight into the fate of Central City after the dangerous Elision Stone is recovered.

On top of that, this weeks marks the beginning of the final Closed Beta test for Black Desert Online. The new beta test begins tomorrow (Feb. 18) at 8:00 am UTC, and it’s set to end at February 22 at the same time. The beta is open to players who pre-ordered the Explorer’s or Conqueror’s package, who are automatically entered into the beta. Others can still sign up for a chance to play the Closed Beta. In addition, Daum Games confirmed that there will be some special in-game events for the latest beta test. The first is the Bait Master Tour, where players can catch a rare Beltfish and earn a special title. The second is the all-new triathlon challenge. This one rewards players for both events that will be added to the players’ accounts, so they will be accessible to those playing Black Desert Online when it officially launches.

Black Desert Online is set for its full launch on March 3.
