Battleborn Beta Goes Live for PS4! Get All the Details!

Players who want an early taste of the possible next big franchise for Gearbox Software, Battleborn, are in luck. The open beta session for the game is now live on PlayStation 4. Players can get access to the open beta for PlayStation 4 now at the PlayStation Store. A PlayStation Plus subscription is not required to play either.

If you are waiting to play the beta on Xbox One and Windows PC. The beta will be available for those platforms next week. The beta can be pre-loaded for Xbox One at this link. The Windows PC pre-load is available here.

With the beta version, gamers will be able to tackle two story missions, two competitive multiplayer modes and all 25 launch characters for the game. However, some will still need to be unlocked before they can be played. There are also three progression systems to try. The bad news? None of the progress will carry over ot the final game.

Battleborn

Gamespot reports PlayStation 4 players who take part in the beta will get access to the first DLC pack for free and instant access to Alani (the first of the five free DLC characters) after she’s released for the full game later on. Players who play the beta and buy the season pass will get a key that lets players unlock any character on the roster immediately.

Battleborn arrives on May 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
