The Banner Saga 3 Unveils Two New Stretch Goals!

by on February 5, 2017

The Banner Saga has been a fan-favorite RPG since its release, but with the sequel, fans were disappointed by some of what developer Stoic Games did. However, for the conclusion of the series, they’ve turned back to fans, and to Kickstarter, to end the series right. On that vein, The Banner Saga 3 has crossed its funding goal, and it still has 30 days to go.

Now, as is their right, they are extending the goals of the Kickstarter, these are called Stretch Goals. They’re incentives to not only get more pledges, but to help make the game even better than before.

First is the return of Ubin, who many people thought to have been dead. They’re not saying how he’ll return story wise, but the indication is that you will be able to use him in battle. Then, there’s the chance to get a Survival Mode, where you’ll pick 6 heroes from the entire character gallery, and have to endure battle after battle to see if you can make it to the end. The more you win, the more rewards you’ll get, and also the chance to improve the heroes you have, and replace the ones who have fallen.
