It isn't really funny, just a coincidence that made me slightly chuckle inside. You know the sound bit that plays whenever Artyom falls and slams into the ground? It's like a smashing, jangling-of-equipment sound. One instance when we hear it is when the Nazi soldier kicks Artyom in the face, another is when Hunter is "attacked" by the Dark One and gets pushed back onto the ground. Anyways, I was watching a show last week, I think it may have been Walking Dead - and they used the same sound bit. I laughed to myself, but none of the people around me would have understood.

Just thought that was interesting...

EDIT: You know you've been playing a little too much Metro when you go out and buy throwing knives that look identical to those in the game. (Guilty)

I to noticed the sound in the walking dead, in fact I saw the episode only a few hours ago.

...When you stack the Metro disc on top of all the others because you don't like the idea of MW2 being on top of it... Maybe that's just me...

..when you're so much on the forums, that you even do it in class, so your classmates sees the forum, signs up and posts strange comments like that ^

 

...When you buy two gas masks, spend around a quarter of your free time after school on a forum related to the game, read four books based in the same universe (in two different languages), start an account on the game's wikia to add what you know, write a review of the game and give it a 10/10 rating.

I am an absolute Metro 2033 geek and I am proud to be a part of this. :lol:

 

When you work a job with soul crushing hours to earn enough money to slowly accumulate a metro costume, and don't use the money for anything else...

 

How is a ghillie suit (if that's what you meant) related to Metro, have I missed something?

Anyway, you know you've been playing too much Metro when you can relate it to any topic that comes up in conversation. Oh and when you start throwing stuff at drunk people wandering about in the dark.

 

I've recently grown an interest for Ghillie suits after playing Arma2 and DayZ, and actually wore one while jumping around in the populated city-center IRL, with this guy filming it. At the same time, he knows about my addiction for Metro, so I guess he mixes up the two. Although a Ghillie suit wouldn't fit in the metro, it'd still be too damn awesome though!
