    Hey guys,
I was playing some last light this morning and got to the point where Andrew the blacksmith reveals that railcar to you, he says and I quote "We have friends in venice, talk to woodpecker, and tell him where you left our baby." (baby being the railcar.) Now I have looked everywhere in venice for this 'woodpecker' character knocking on doors etc etc, and I just cant find him anywhere.

Did anyone else notice this? And if so did you find him? Or have the same confusion as me?

Same here, I never found him, although I looked everywhere.

I found that part weird too ... but I guess they just assume you don't have to find him since you crashed Regina. Still weird though.. they could stil fix it xD

Artyom wouldn't have said anything anyway, even if he met this Woodpecker :p

They might just be staying true to the book meaning that, that was Andrews line but they didnt follow it up :)

Yeah, but Woodpecker is still going to want to know where his damn car is! Whether it's wrecked or not, somebody's going to be wantin' some parts. Nothing goes to waste in the Metro. Nothing. Anything to the contrary and it's blasphemy. Or a long walk down a dark tunnel.

Thestalker's theory is that Artyom just didn't want to admit that he broke the damn thing, which is why he didn't meet with Andriey's friend... I think that's a decent explanation.

Haha, that seems unlike Artyom though. Maybe it slipped his mind, what with mutants, nazis, and all sorts of hellish things happening to him, the railcar didn't seem so important?

Or maybe it just is a discontinuity problem that they overlooked..

Yeah, in all seriousness, it either slipped Artyom's mind or 4A just overlooked it. Tbh, I didn't notice it until Thestalker pointed it out to me one day.
