Which monster/creature in Metro 2033 creeped you out the most?

For me, it had to be them librarians. Looking behind and seeing one of them running up to attack me gave me the nerves!

Librarians were definitely freaky. Those ghost things gave me the shivers though.

Librarians. The way to starred at you, uuuuhhh...

But the new phenomals* were real creepy too, how Khan ordered me to stay still made the whole scene give more impact of discovering a new ...form of species, and I would not make any fast moves

I simply hated the dark ones. And how you randomly spotted them throughout the game, especially dead city... right after you go through the playground hes just sitting there hahah.

Lol yes that was realy funny for me as well, just seeing the dark one chillin out.

OT: Scariest monster? Those bloody pink rats that travel in packs... they freak me out way more then librarians like you guys said. Librarians are easy to kill:p where as the pink rats are so damn fast and hide in the holes on you... popping up out of nowhere to attack you and then run.

The only creatures that give me the creeps are the Lurkers. I hate the sounds they make as they come out of their holes and I hate being attacked from behind by 2-3 of them at the same time even more!!!

The librarians were pretty scary, but the Lurkers were the worst, especially with Sasha on your back. I screamed when I fell into one of their holes.

I hated the Lurkers! Especially on "Defense" and "Child" where they come three at a time. Plus there's the sound they make even when they are not around, like in the tunnels beneath you or somethimg.

The librarians at first, but then I met the plated-nosalise (all-black, jumping out of the ceiling). I hope they make the next game really creepy!

The librarians were scary, but in the book, they were terrifying! They mimic human speech, something they could add in Last Light.

At first I hated Lurkers but then Throwing Knives helped me. Also demons at first times... But the greatest mutants into metro (but not scary) were people.

Hated the pink rats just cos they would hit and run then hide! Librarians were just spooky but they were worse in the book as they mimicked human voices that they heard using them later in the correct situations for the words!
