That makes sense. There is a lot of lore to follow, so if you don't like the story, that would make the game unattractive. I like the fantasy aspect, personally, but it's not for everyone. Did you ever do any raids or PvP? It sounds like you are more into fast paced game play, so maybe that stuff would have been more appealing than just questing, exploring, etc. You don't really have to follow the lore to beat a boss or PvP.
Yaah! I enjoyed raiding..atleast think I can recall beating up the tops was fun as well. Long time though..
I started playing world of craft four years ago.My friends suggested me to play the game.In start, it was an amazing game to play more and more.It become my first online favorite game to be played. But after a few months, I did get bored with it.That's why I stopped playing this game.
I started playing world of Warcraft in the year 2007. I was just looking for a war video game to play and I came across this game.
I also started playing the game a few years ago, it took a while for me to warm up to it, but now I love it.
Started playing Mmorgps games with Runescape. Just later on I come to know Warcraft. I knew it for some quite time before I started playing it.
World of Warcraft has a very warm place in my heart. I remember seeing a bundle of Vanilla and Burning Crusade in the store many years ago, when I was shopping with my mother. The minute I saw the name World of Warcraft, I remembered how I used to play WC3 and fell in love with Arthas' story. That's why I bought it. 10 years ago or so.
Did you buy World of Warcraft online or found it in a shop? Because seeing it in a shop has an entirely different feeling. World of Warcraft gave me an impression of: "wow, where have I been all these years and why I didnt see it?".
I started playing when my father discovered wow (I was 13? 14? back then) and I was amazingly impressed about everything in the game. So I think something about 10-12 years ago
I started playing around 2007 with my friends. I was only 15 yrs old and parents didn't wanted to buy wow acces but we had other ways to get in to the game
I technically started late in Wrath, not long before Cata was announced. I don’t quite remember how long I had before Cata’s release but I sometimes consider myself a so called ‘Cata Baby’ as that is around when I felt I was truly getting used to how the game works.
