It is a well-known fact that many TV shows and movies have a great impact on our lives. An example for me can be the movie named 'The Great Gatsby'. It changed my perspective on looking at life. Nearly all movies influence the way we live in one way or the other. We get to learn from them. Think of a movie in which there is an orphaned child who is being mistreated by her stepmother, after a few years the child could succeed in life and come back to help the stepmother. In such a case we come to learn not to mistreat anyone whatever her situation may be.
One of the tv series that probably made an impact on me is Rich Man Poor Man from the best selling novel of Irwin Shaw. I saw this during the seventies. The story of two brothers who landed two different paths struck me early in life which I carry until now.
