What do you play Metro 2033 on?

I play it on
GT220 1GB DDR3
2 gb ram
Intel Dual Core 1.8 ghz.
Win 7.
My PC sucks,but i can still play it on "high" with resolution "1280x1024",and im happy with it.

 

I played it on xbox and PC. But I am a PC gamer now.

 

PC, but it's really weird. I have it maxed out but it only uses 170 Mb of RAM and 30% of CPU, still, the FPS is ~~40!

What the hell...

anyways, I play it on PC.
gt220 ddr2 1gb (overclocked).
intel core 2 e7500 2x2,93ghz.
4gb ram 2gbx2.
It's not awesome, but it is good playing most games at high settings, for bfbc2 metro2033 etc games usually medium.
Getting some money for a gtx 550 ti, 99 euro here.

I play on Pc and i really loved the game, played it like 15 times...

 

I play in PC with a HD 5670. I really hope on getting a new custom PC before Last Light comes out. Planning on getting a GTX 770 or 780 when they come out

 

High five - I played it on the same graphics card. I was going to build a new PC before Last Light comes out (had everything planned and all the components picked), but it turned out to be simply too expensive for me right now. However, I think I'll be able to build a monster PC in around two years as I'll have the money needed by then. Good luck with getting the new card.

 

PC Games Hardware: As above mentioned in Metro 2033 especially the DX11 render path took even high end cards to their limit of performance. Have you as a consequence of this tried to optimize the graphics part of the engine for speeding up the rendering with the help of DX11 features (e.g. computer shader or driver multithreading)? Can you already tell us if Metro Last Light will offer new DX11-Features that were not integrated in the renderer of the predecessor? Can you give us an overview which visual features will be only rendered with DX11?

Oles Shishkovtsov: We utilized compute shaders in one more place (2033 already used compute shaders). Regarding the performance, the interesting thing is that we have improved graphics in almost all places, but the performance is still on 2033-level, and even better in many places. Actually, until you turn on tessellation/displacement it is the same. That's because a lot more content is tessellated and displaced comparing to 2033. Regarding features, I'd rather say that we improved all the features like added Bokeh for DOF, implemented physically based SSAO or much better reflections.

I was planning on upgrading too as i feared i may not be able to run LL in all it's glory.But it seems that we can delay our monster upgrades/building pc for now ainkiller:

 

That's great! I can run Metro 2033 on medium settings using my current rig and still get good frame rate, so I should be able to run Last Light even more smoothly.

 

I played it on the Xbox first and when I got my first PC which could play some acceptional games I grabbed it for the PC for around 10 bucks

 

Xbox didn't think I would be in the minority with most playing it on PC.

 

I dont have my specs right now but i play on 1600x1200 res and highest sets. love it pc for lyf
