You say every ending ruins everything, you shouldn't be allowed an opinion! No, I haven't read the book. Recently finished all of TLOTR and The Road, now i'm just waiting for Roadside Picnic.
Started reading Atlas Shrugged. I was given this book by my rich friend who I've had a lot of political discussions with, and I see his views as sort of extreme so I'm excited to see what this book's about
Im trying to read "The Long Earth" by Terry Pratchet and Stephen Baxter, (Yes, TWO authors for the same book xD), but it's going... well, not too good. I've kinda lost my fun in reading. I hope I'll get it back sometime soon though. ^^
I'm reading the Metro books. One of my favourite books is Ondskan(Evil). It's about Erik Ponti and it's based on the authors life. Erik Ponti gets beaten by his father and he gets in trouble in school because he fights. He gets kicked out from the school and the principle makes sure he won't get in to any other school. His mother sold paintings she had so that Erik would be able to go to a very expensive school for noble people. And on this school they have peer education. What this means is that the younger must do what the older tells them to and the older can beat the younger and the teachers don't interfer. Erik is good at fighting, he's tactical and smart but if he beats anyone in the school council he will get expelled so he has to learn to restrain himself but the older will do anything to make him obey them. So the book is mostly about the time at the noble school.
