Anyone hear anything about Stalker 2? I'm happy that they're bringing it to consoles, since my PC is an antique.

Maybe thats what the mayans predicted that if Metro Last Light and stalker 2 existed in the same dimension the fabric of time and space would be destroyed by the pure awesome? Looking forward to it though.
Well, I've never had a good PC, so it's great to see the series coming to consoles. I'll definitely buy it!
I just hope they don't port it over to the consoles badly. Both the PS3 and 360 versions, as well as the PC version, should be separate experiences and best optimized for each system.

That's some bad news... very bad. Well at least they've updated it now and GSC Game World said that it's a possibility... I hope it remains just a possibility and nothing more.

Yeah, but imagine working for years on a game, trying to make it really good, and then seeing all of your profits disappearing. For games this is a problem, especially for lower budget games. Movie studios can handle it, because they usually get massive returns from the cinemas around the world. But game companies rely on their sales.

Well, all the DRM on The Witcher 2 was removed from the game only a few days after release - yet the guys are so honest that they've actually said they have more than enough money from the game's release and it wouldn't hurt them if they lost some over that lawsuit with Namco Bandai. CDProjekt RED is badass.

I've heard lots of Stalker fans saying "Oh God, no!" when they hear S2 is coming to consoles. They think it will be "dumbed down" (not sure exactly what that means). Here are my thoughts: I've been playing Stalker SoC with an Xbox 360 controller (for multiple reasons, chief being that I'm used to it, and it feels more natural). True, I have too few buttons (maybe 4-5 more would be perfect), but I have all the essentials, and the keyboard still works for all the other buttons, so I have the best of both worlds. Graphics? Well, PC will always be better, that's life. Not everyone can afford an epic PC, either, and a $300 console is good for everyone. Story and gameplay won't change at all between versions, or at least it shouldn't. So I'm wondering: why are they so pissed off? Surely now more of us can experience this awesome game? The controller doesn't impede the gameplay in the least, actually makes it better for those of us used to it. I just don't understand these people...
