Hello,THQvagrantscout welcome to the board.Lets hope that we will see many giveaways, offerts and news about Metro last light.
I am gonna do my best if I was a boy scout at any point in my life it is here that I would say "scout's honor" ... but since I never was a boy scout, you will just need to take my word for it ... take it and like it!
Nice to have you here Joe! I hope you truly enjoy this forum as much as we have. We have threads all over this forum with ideas about last light campaign, multiplayer, missions, and much much more. So enjoy, have fun, and all of us welcome you to our family friendly community!
Thanks all for the welcome messages...don't let this thread die, need to make sure everyone in this community knows I am here...not because I have info to share, but because I need constant reaffirmation :O
Joe it's Tuesday, Where is the Info from the devs? It's nearly time I hit the sack, 23:30 GMT Here right now
Sorry I was delayed a bit yesterday by this thing called "work" ... I know I know, I shouldn't let that get in my way of posting information and the like, but sometimes meetings are going to rule the day ... I did get the latest answer set up around 4:30PM Pacific yesterday
hehe no problem. It just occurred to me in a sudden psychotic flash. Would we be able to see a video tour of the 4A studios and a glimpse of the guys working on Metro Last Light and what roles they play in the product development? Similar things have been done by Treyarch - Call of Duty Black Ops. I'll try and find examples of what I mean. Come on Von back me up - we would love this. Video Examples: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJDSC23Du_g or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VK8wLsh0yPY&feature=player_embedded#! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gLr8fRSH74&feature=related! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTm3b1CR9E0&feature=related! You could even turn it into a mini series to the build up to LL.
We will probably do a developer blog series closer to game release once the team isn't crazy busy and has a little extra time.
I'd have to agree, this would be very cool. And I'd really love to see some in-depth discussions going on, how they approached the game, what obstacles/problems they faced. I'm very interested in how the game industry works.
