Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy. Now that's one of the damn best StarWars games when it comes to lightsabers, but it has gotten so old that nobody plays it anymore.
Well, Khan does have a point. I think, personally, that concidering how good the Half Life games are, they should be more popular than the CoD series. But, you know, kids these days...
I certainly wouldn't classify them as underrated either as almost all of Valve games gained an unusual amount of praise from critics and gamers alike. And even though Portal 2 was my personal pick for GOTY 2011 (my 2nd and 3rd runner-ups were Outland and Stacking, respectively), I don't think it's as smart as the majority of video game journalists make it out to be.
Frontlines:Fuel Of War is another great underrated game. Oh,and Star Wars Republic Comando. Great game!
Frontlines was underrated. Sure, not the most realistic game in the world, but fun as hell to play. Multiplayer was excellent.
This. It was probably the first game I played which had awesome gadgets to itself and both the campaign and multiplayer were awesome.
Yeah, those little 'copters and tanks are mint, took a while for other games to get the idea! Love the multiplayer.
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero An adventure game set in the MK universe was a great idea. Though it's definitely not a great game but certainly not as bad as most people say it is. Great atmosphere, excellent soundtrack, interesting/campy story.
On the PS2... "The Thing" Great little game, very, very close in tone to the John Carpenter film. Combat could get pretty intense and out of hand very quickly - fire could be your friend and your enemy!
It probably is gonna be so better say it, Transformers Fall of Cybertron. It is simply the BEST transformers game upto date.
Yeah but metro and stalker would be recognised by the post apoc gamers as will total war for the Rts gamers and continue so that makes them all underrated to the gamers outside of those categories kinda
Of course Metro 2033. Then I think Alan Wake is one of the most underrated-games this generation. I rarely played a game that trapped me like this one. You should really play it. Graphics are really nice (so many details), voice-acting and soundtrack are absolutly gorgeous and the gameplay is really fun Then there is Fallout: New Vegas. I really liked it. I actually liked it much more than Fallout 3 but the rest of the fanbase doesn't agree with me. At least I think BioShock 2 and Dead Island. I honestly can't understand why people hated Dead Island that much.
Alan Wake was indeed very good, it has a strong fanbase, anyway. Shadow of the Colossus was a little underrated.. I still meet people who haven't played this masterpiece..
I wouldn't consider Alan Wake underrated. It did fairly well in sales on all platforms and is there much reason for it. Alan Wake was a very good game. And personally, I do not hate Dead Island as much as everyone else. I just believe that the balance between meele and firearms was completely unfair. The game was 80% bats and 20% rifles, kind of annoying in today's generation of gaming. A real underrated game would be Happy Wars, I could play that game for hours out of the pure silliness of it.
So you feel bad? Seeing as you are on the Metro Last Light forums, a forum based on an upcoming game set in Metro 2033 the video game's universe and not the novels' universe.
