I had grown tired and my illusion had wavered, so I had to break it off. But, I saw that my goal was accomplished. I rejoiced at the feeling of being helpful. Now, all I needed to do was see what transpired next. Should the beast attack, I would discretely subdue it. I was troubled because its aura still felt red to me. But it was too late to go back. For now, the only thing that I could do was see how the situation played out. The sun was close to setting. Even I had begun to feel the cold chill of night on the air; I would need to find some sort of shelter.
