Hello everyone. I apologize if I wasn't supposed to start my own thread for this. My name is Danya, I'm a computer science/mathematics student based in the US. As the thread below me says, I built a computer specifically for Last Light after having to push through 2033 twice on an old machine with 15fps . My Metro 'true' fandom started after reading the novel Metro 2033 after having played the game which I found to be extremely beneficial. I'd highly recommend this sequence: Play 2033, read the novel 2033, play Last Light, replay 2033, optional re-read the novel. Anyway I look forward to participating in this forum and getting to know others who share the same interests
The old one I played 2033 on was a laptop with integrated graphics so that tells you everything you need to know! I'm moving around very often which never allowed me to have a decent desktop until recently. I have an intel i5 2400, 8gb ram, GTX280 (believe it or not this card still rocks any recent game). I was on a budget so the whole thing cost me less than $500 and runs Last Light beautifully
