Game seems incredibly popular right now, and justifiably so. One of the top sellers on Steam, and every PS+ subscriber on PS4 got it for free the month after it came out. Apparently is already starting to get an esports presence. Even has crossplay, albeit limited, though the devs say that cross-platform party play is in the works. Haven't seen anyone here talk about it yet. Any of you guys play it at all? Oh, and shameless plug for a very quick video of it:
First time I've ever heard of this game. Looks kinda fun, but I doubt I'll play it. Liked video anyway.
GameSpot's Danny O'Dwyer made a video about this game in the context of its history, football and Unreal Tournament. I still haven't played Rocket League, but this video was pretty cool and I played UT a bit when I was a kid so it was interesting to see those links. Thought you might like it as well:
Nice video. It is a fun game, though I've enjoyed it in spite of my inability to really enjoy Football/Soccer. It's a great point that it does a much better job of getting that soccer feel than most modern soccer games.
