With Metro: Last Light coming later this year, there is a risk 4A Games will opt for more bombastic entertainment in order to draw new players. Such a move would be a mistake, if it comes at the expense of the game's experimentation. Metro 2033 never needed to show you a nuclear explosion to tell you the world is dead. Exactly
I did like the plane bit from the E3 demo though i like when games show something from a different angle and hopefully show new players (me) how and not neccesarily why the world is like it is. could someone explain to me what than flying dragoon of death thingy is ( i never played metro 2033)
There's no definite certain answer to that, but we suspect it is a mutated bat or a mutated tiger, perhaps somehow a mixture of both.
Well if it helps, the winged creature is called by most a "Demon"... And to a few, "Bitches". They are among the most feared and deadly creatures in Metro 2033, matched only by the ape like strength of "Librarians" and in some ways... The minds of "Dark ones". I strongly suggest you play Metro 2033. It can be found pretty cheap now a days and would definitely help explain a lot about Last light.
No offence, but then what are you doing on this forum? Sorry if I sounded rude there, I just think you're really missing out. You could always play the game on PC with the lowest settings (it would look probably about the same as the Xbox 360 version, with DX9 renderer and lower settings).
Shut up, Bamul! Don't remind me about my consoles terrible graphics!... Why can't I have nice things?... *Tear...
Im on this forum thanks to a very nice community (better than cods) me having read yes read the novels (metro 2034 thanks to a very good online translation) and after reading into it submiting a preorder for last light
If you've read the original two novels, then I can understand the reasoning behind your joining much better now. Sorry... it's just the truth.
I dunno man, they're probably just as bad money wise. Games are generally more expensive on console They're not exactly upgradeable so when they're outdated they're replaced with the next gen console. When they break, generally most people don't buy parts they replace it. Lots of 'consumables' - Controllers, headsets, batteries, XBL gold, MS points. DLC usually costs more as well I think. I'm no expert on PCs though, only just recently opened my eyes to the fact that PC>console.
