I've just started Rift online, and I was wondering what were good professions for a starting Dark Thane Warrior. I learned the mining and armorsmith professions, what would be best to learn besides this? Or should I unlearn them and get something different?
Armorsmith and weaponsmith would be the best two picks for a warrior. Runecrafting is great for adding stats to your gear without having to pay auction house prices for them. There really is no 'best' profession though as they all have their benefits. I use my artificing to make every new 60 in my guild rings. Apothecary makes great vials to use for raiding. Outfitters makes large bags. It all depends on what you want the most out of the game, really.
Weapon smith and mining are definite pluses for warrior class, money from mining for gears, and smithing to make good weapons
