Been gaming since the early 90's, as games exceed my current hardware capabilities I taper off. I started with Doom & Quake then built Intel Pentium Pro 200 mhz rig and 2 Canopus Pure3D II's (Voodoo) in original SLI this lasted to the '97 or so. Then a Dell Dimension 8200 Pentium with a Ti4600, next up in 2005 an Alienware Tower P4 3.4GHz and a Asus6800 Ultra. very noisy, so I water cooled and over-clocked it. In 2007 I bought an Alienware m5750 Laptop with ATI x1800 for portable fun. That could play Doom 3, Half Life 2 & Quake 4. Now the m5750 is ancient (gaming wise) so I bought a refurbished Alienware portable M18x R2 with Intel 3740QM and 2 AMD 3970's in CrossfireX. Bought Metro: Last Light and here I am back at it. Enjoying my Metro tour very much.
seeing as you're a pc gamer may I reccomend the holy grail, the Renaissance, STAR CITIZEN?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhsgiliheP0
Update: Settling into Metro 2033, will finish and go on to Metro Last Light. I'm also into BioShock Infinite when I want a change of pace. I got Max Payne 3 which looks good, 3rd person view is different to me last time I played May Payne was using a 1st person add on. Lots of good info here, thanks
