    The drought has ended brothers (and sisters?)!! New images have arrived via a Game Informer article. Read the article, brought to you by me, via the link below.

    Oh my God, this is gonna be amazing I'm getting all excicted again.

    Awesome to see Andrew is back, I hope he plays a larger part this time.

    Also nice to see a lot of old weapons are back, I was worrying there for a second, though I'm not sure how I feel about blue shotgun shells.

    Either way, is that an automatic pistol on the shelf? Now that'd be a cool.

    Hopefully we'll get some higher-res scans, or even video soon.

    They referred to the Bastard as a "cobbled-together submachinegun"... guys, I like the Bastard! And it's not a submachinegun damn it!

    Haha, I'm fairly certain that Game Informer will be getting their hands on exclusive information and screenshots throughout the month so stay tuned!

    The biggest systematic changes come with the weapon trading system. In 2033 players upgrade their firepower with pre-configured firearms. In Last Light players can trade out different scopes, extended magazines, silencers, barrels and more.

    Additionally players can carry 3 weapons of their own choosing. If you want to forego a pistol in favour of something heavier you're welcomed to do so.
    You can carry 3 heavy weapons but be cautious that you may not be able to find the amo to sustain them.

    We've added better feedback to gunplay. Now you know when you've hit flesh thanks to sprays of blood and appropriate "meaty" sounds. Hit armor plating and you'll hear "pings" and see sparks. Masks get obscure due to moisture, gore and more and players have to wipe them clean.

    Looks like the Reds have quite the train engine. Also did you notice this? "It's armor plating makes our initial burst of gunfire an expensive waste. It's not immune to fire, however, and flames turn it's exoskeleton a lobster like red" does this mean Artyom has some sort of flame thrower on him?
