Me too. Unless it's the in game music which actually helps me get immersed enough that it isn't distracting, I think modern music just ends up distracting me more because it doesn't fit in with the genre which is usually composed of medieval type designs.
The fact is I am not that keen listening to music while gaming. Just once in a long while I go up to Youtube to get any cool marching music. Otherwise gaming even without listening to music.
I listen to a lot of speed metal whenever I play, I don't know but it gives me that rush that I need. Most of the times I listen to Paul Gilbert's pieces, Dragon Force, Dream Theater, One OK Rock.
I dоn’t knоw whаt yоu’rе intо, but I listеn tо Blасk Sаbbаth, Thе Dооrs аnd Rhаpsоdy in Bluе by Gеrshwin. It’s а prеtty gооd mix but thеy аll gеt mе in thе right fосussеd mindsеt fоr TF2.
Anything to do with pop music is what I listen to when gaming. With the Head Phones playing with high volume I feel like am in a very different world.
Blues are good music in my view to occupy ourselves with while we play game. I am always good listening to blues simply because they keep me more active and accurate kind of.
I listen to a variety of music when playing. Sometimes it is "I'm Blue", sometimes it is an R&B song, sometimes it's just silence or the game music.
I don't have a specific type of music when I'm playing, I'm pretty eclectic about it. I just listen to something that makes me excited.
