I still hope they could make a seperate co-op campaign, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Their are enough levels where you are with a companion in the campaign, just like in the book. A co-op campaign about the unseen watsers would make me very happy.

Read Питер - in it there is a bit about their equivalent in the metro of Sankt Petersburg. ;)

Is that a Russian book, I don't even know what the title means. There isn't a English translation I guess?

Yep, it's set in the Metro universe, and there is no English translation. However there is a Polish one (which is the version that I've read), so there are probably some other language versions. :)

The MP was not cut due to consumer reaction either way, but was a decision made by the studio / publisher together to ensure that the single player aspect was given as much support as possible. As stated in the Q&A, the MP process never got beyond prototyping and can be revisited in the future.

Sorry for us getting so stressed over this, Joe. I'm sure we'll all come around to no MP soon enough.

Either way, at least you can tell the team post-release Multiplayer is something a lot of people would think is cool idea.

I mean, IDK if you guys got any plans for DLC. Like extra Singleplayer chapters but I think co-op based MP might be intresting thing to add. Better than some poor story DLC and house creation. -COUGH-Skyrim-COUGH-

If the game was pulled for the WiiU and was to be revisited later too, then what chance is there that MP for the PS3, XBOX and PC will materialise? The studio is obviously stretched, but who knows what goes on behind closed doors.

ok, the shock for no MP was greater then the thing in itself. I already can't wait to play LL,MP or not!

Whose to say they won't work at both of them at the same time?

I doubt the whole team will know the coding to get port the game to Wii-U. I hear it's fairly common for part of a studio to break off post-launch to work on DLC, anyway.

Breaking off a part of the team to make DLC is the worst thing that 4A Games could do right now. DLC is one of the worst things about gaming nowadays.

Bamul, DLCs are not bad, just look at VALVe, that after 1 year after Portal 2's release, are still updating the game with new chambers and other stuffs for free, or CD Projekt, that released a freaking 12 Gb update to The Witcher 2, also for free. DLCs help to maintain the game interesting and fresh... But those developers/publishers that cut content from a game that is already finished, just to sell it later, those people deserve to die...

We should all just stop assuming DLC=bad.

That is redicilous thought in itself.

Like if people were complaining when it was called expansion. No one did, everyone loved expansions but now just because CoD makes mappacks everyone goes "Oh nooo, DLC is ruining the game industry."
