Metro: Last Light pre-order & Ranger Mode details under Deep Silver

I have a question....

I've purchased a new GPU (670 ftw) and it came with a free copy of the game for Steam... With that being said.. Will my copy be eligible for the limited edition dlc thingy?

Why is there a limited supply of Limited Edition copies? The game is digital, there can ALWAYS be more copies made.

 

It is to get people to buy it day 1 instead of what im doing (unless i win the compition of course)

Thanks for the Info Pew, and would it be possible for you guys to make a CE in the future? I would LOVE to get one of those, and Im really happy since you already have considered it (it seemed like it since you mentioned it).

 

There is a CE only for RF and CIS right now. I think there might be one for the rest of the world paired with all of the five DLC and multiplayer if and when these get released.

 

Oh nice. Is there any way you could tell us what's in the CE? :3

 

I think it is collecters (eek) edition

 

- DVD with the game
- Two metal figurines, demon and Sparta soldier
- User manual
- In-universe Moscow subway map
- Ranger hardcore mode
- AKS-74U and RPK-74 codes

Professor Pew, can you please clarify what the Ranger mode situation is with the Nvidia bundle for Metro: Last Light?

In other words: If you get the game serial through the Nvidia bundle promotion, is Ranger mode included from day 1 or do you have to pay separate $5 through steam? If ranger mode is included, is it still possible to obtain AKSU throughout the game even if you don't order Limited Edition?

No. It's only sold in RF and CIS.

Not anymore, THQ sent me a spare pack of M2033 CE stuff last year, but it never arrived.
