I have just finished reading the novel Metro 2034 and... it's fantastic. In case any of you are wondering, I have the Polish version since the book hasn't been translated into English. I wasn't that satisfied with the ending, since it leaves you wanting another story from Dmitry Glukhovsky, that's also set in the dark, dangerous tunnels of the Moscow metro. I'd love to read a Metro 2035 right now. So the only bad thing I can straight away point out about the book, is that it ends. What did you guys think of Metro 2034?
I liked it a lot (russian version). but i heard its coming out in english next month? im not sure but i hear it is. So i wont spoil anything for u guys who havent read it yet.
Do you have any reference for this (like, publisher or whatever)? 'Cos then I'll go order it as soon as it's out!
I honestly dont have the time to finish metro 2033, yet to start learning russian to read 2034. No way mate.
I'm sure that whatever language it is, it'll be better than in portuguese. Dark Ones are called Demons or Zombies and the actual Demons are called Moths
Wow, that gives a different image altogether. But the English translation is full of mistakes too, just bad grammar and repetition of words, and weird little sentences.
Yea, I also recently gave a look at the lybrarians from the wiki and in my version of the book they are described as skelly (???) and dark ones... well, I don't remember exactly, but when I read the book for the first time I tought of them as some kind of really big dog with a long neck that walked with his legs when walking normaly. But then I found out they were smart and was like "what the fuck?" and searched it on the wiki.
Yea, it is, even tho some stuff makes no sense lol. I'm definetly learning russian (in some decades maybe, when I'll be living under the metro of Moscow) some day, but I'm reading Metro 2034 in English for sure. When is the translations out?
Not too sure, nothing has been said about it, though Boris13 thinks he heard a rumour. I'm waiting for both the Metro 2034 book, and Last Light!
haha yeah it was a rumor. last year when i visited russia some website there said that itd be comming out in march 2012. idk tho haha
So, Boris, are there any Dark Ones in M2034? Did hunter tell them about we humans being dumb or something like that?
