    ...anyway, I actually was thinking on Translating my copy of the book, one chapter a week or something. We'll see ;D

    Not sure if this'll float anyone's boat but I've been playing around with cleaning up METRO2033Artjom's fan translation. I'm sure I've produced what is quite possibly the least accurate fan translation on the internets, but I did cut out a chunk of awkward phrasing, confused verbiage, etc.

    I'm still hoping for this official translation to surface, but if anyone's interested... well I would post the link but I'm new so no linkies for me. If you google "metro 2034 english fan translation" it's one of the first results. If anyone finds it worth while / wants to link it here that'd be dandy.

    Nope, no official English version yet... I know man, I too was surprised at first. There has been a Polish version for ages as well. It didn't make any sense to me until I realized that Metro 2033's fanbase in English-speaking countries was tiny compared to the rest of Europe. Though I think that is about change with Last Light's release, but I still doubt that the books will ever have more natively English speaking readers than Eastern Europeans... or Russians alone, for that matter. :lol:
