Making my Friend Play Metro: Last Light

    So, a while back, when the Faction Pack was first released, I had the idea to have a few of my friends play through Kshatriya and make some videos comparing their performance.

    Well, the only chance I got to record was at a friend's house, with a really tired friend, a fan running in the background, and only a crappy webcam mic to record voice with. But I actually got some pretty entertaining footage, and since it doesn't look like I'll be able to get more friends to get me footage, I messed around in Audacity and Vegas, and after 30 hours or so managed to shorten down an hour of footage into an 8-minute video and edit everything together. Hopefully it turned out alright, always looking for thoughts and ways to improve. Hope you enjoy the gameplay and conversation.

    Uh...Russians are people just like you...but in a different political/economic system. Humans just stepped out of the stone age, obviously were going to have different ways of organizing shit. If we were smart, we'd be agreeing to learn from each others systems, making detailed analysis...buts his ignorant attitude that causes wars and the mistrust, congrats on that... :derp:

    In all seriousness, we were all tired and (I thought obviously) joking around. We don't dislike people because of where they were born, and we definitely don't plan on starting an wars over it, lol. Thanks, though.

    What-...what does that even have to do with-...are you threatening him? Are you for some reason trying to bring your passion for the 2nd amendment into this as if it's relevant? Are you bragging about owning a gun? Are you trying to defend Russia as if any Russians could even be offended by that joke? Can you even see why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?

    It didn't sound like he was purely joking. To me it sounded like he didn't like Russians. Type out what he said, word for word and post it here then read it yourself.

    ...and i meant to put a smiley face after that comment, for what its worth. :D

    And all I get from his is comment that the joke's not really racist (which I agree with), and a random comment about black people that leads me to think he's trolling.

    And whatever people say about emoticons, they really do help to break the barrier of communication that text presents.

    I've known my friend for most of my life. Believe me, he's nowhere near bigoted enough to hate a group of people because of their nationality. And the comments he made were so ridiculous that I thought it would be beyond obvious he was joking.
    Ha, I figure it's better than this place being completely dead.

    Jokes about Russia with vodka, tanks and bears are just like jokes about the Netherlands with weed, money and hookers, I wouldn't ever feel offended by that.

    Btw, I'm also very interested in Russia, I'm still considering to study Russian.

    I actually meant that one, but that's more out of frustration cause the Black Pete bitching started here again.
