I have an aunt (really my father's mother's sister's daughter, which in English would be - in relation to me - cousin something removed, but I have no idea how this shit works) moved to Australia decades ago. I've seen some of the photos she took and it's unreal. You could easily shoot a Fallout film there as well, no need to go to the Mojave Desert.

I freakin' love the Mad Max movies and was really excited for this a while ago until I found out who was actually going to be cast in it. Tom Hardy as Max... hmm, I dunno. I really like Tom but that sort of pissed me off a bit because I would have loved to see Sam Worthington as Max, as was falsely rumoured early on. That got me really excited. Personally I couldn't imagine anyone else play the role and fit it almost as well as Mel Gibson, but I guess we'll see how Tom goes... I can live with that... A few real nails in the coffin of my hype for Mad Max 4 was seeing Charlize Theron in the cast. *cringe* And going down the list I just see names of actors I don't know, and too many random actresses I don't even want to know let alone see playing stupidly-named characters in a 'Mad Max' movie... Though I am now interested to see a very familiar face, John Howard, as this character called "People Eater". I've always liked John. And it will suck to see that beautiful Interceptor go down (again). I saw a film shoot pic of Tom on a bike so that will be cool, and the vehicles are what's keeping me just barely excited for this.
I think hardy will be really good as he's good at playing tough bastards like Bronson and Forrest Bondurant
