Many people praise the TV mini-series Band of Brothers for its apparently great quality. I've heard tons of good things about - so, naturally, when I saw a tin case containing six blu-ray discs with the entire 10+ hours of the series on them, I wanted to buy it. However, I'm still not sure. So, has anyone on the forum seen it? Is it good?
It is unbelievable. Just a amazing series. If you haven't seen it, what the fuck have you been doing with your life?
Best HBO series out there. Funnily enough I've been watching this with my grandpa over Christmas break. For possibly the 8th time. And it's still amazing. So get it!
 I see, best order it straight away then. I'm glad I decided to come here and ask yous about it first though - it felt like a deal that was too good to just ignore.
I finished watching all 10 episodes of this with my brother, on Blu-ray, and it was absolutely awesome. Better than your typical American war movie and miles better than the average TV series. I loved pretty much everything about it. Not all of the 10 parts were brilliant, but all of them were at least good. My favourite episode was Part 6: Bastogne. Loved the atmosphere, plot, characters, combat scenes and everything else about it. Now, if only someone did a series like this about the Eastern front of World War II... the Battle of Wizna, the Warsaw Uprising, the Battle of Stalingrad... there are so many possibilities.
The Pacific is also good but doesn't even compare to Band Of Brothers IMO. I love all of the parts. I don't think I have a favourite, there's too many that I love.
