    I guess it's a good thing I've read the book multiple times and am still reading it today (Artyom just got to Polis) or else I'd be accused...

    Just like in the book were Artyom is forced to choose between
    a Mars bar
    and
    a small boys Sunday trousers
    and choose which one will have to run through a tunnel full of
    confusing street signs
    while the other is forced to watch in agony...

    what do you guys think of the hit markers on the new game play,to much like cod i know thats a bad name on this forum. But a worthy discussion.

    Hit markers are unneccessary but I don't have a real problem with them, I'm more worried about them dumbing the game down.

    Welcome to the tunnels, triumph. :) We've had some discussions on the forum regarding this already and I think it seems that most of us dislike hit markers just as much as you do... and rightfully so. Things like that just don't belong in a Metro game. It seems a bit immersion-breaking to me, knowing whether a shot in the dark has hit something or not. It would take away a lot of the tension.
