I got betrayed for the nth time!

Okay not that many times but seriously though, most of the questline in Skyrim either has some sort of betrayal scenes or just downright plot twists. The Dark Brotherhood quests, the Thieves Guild quests, almost every new quest line I come into has this sort of plot line brewing.

Yeah it's pretty much an underlying tone to some of the quests but it's no wonder since there's turmoil in the land. But I don't think there are a lot of those betrayal things coming any more.

Well there's that one with that Argonian thief. I hated that guy but I'm glad and I went on ahead and betrayed him first by killing off the crew members on the ship.

Oh yeah that guy. I thought it was a cool little mission, I mean I kind of seen it coming but I was really pissed when I got inside the ship and I was ambushed. Fortunately I can carve up a dragon with my buffed up skills so they're not even a match.

Yeah it's a good thing they're all kind of weak characters to deal with. But I'm doing it stealth so it's all a one hit kill for me with an arrow.

Stealth never worked for me, I'm very impatient all the time and I can't afford to just shoot and hide all the time, that's why I never liked the Thieves Guild quest. I almost always get caught stealing stuff.

Your not the only one bussy but that plays well into the atmosphere of the game. All the troubles of the land and the not knowing who to trust. Its meant to keep you on your toes. And in a gmae like this where you are virtually capable of doing what you want its nice to have some things that bring down to "reality " and make you have to play by the rules.

Yeah it's a really great addition to the game, the fact that the NPC's even though their pre progammed to do that still has some sort of agenda to them that makes the game more engaging and really gets you up to speed even if it's linear.

It can be hard to know sometimes who is right or wrong and also, it can be hard to know who is also telling the truth sometimes and also not easy to make choices. It seems like the Witcher at times as in that you have the elfs who are kidnapping humans and want rights and cause mayhem and also leave some in the crypts to die by the beasts and say if you chase us the humans die. The order does some good things but, against the elfs and that brings war on both sides and hard choice to choose as being neutral is not good as you have to fight both sides.

I'd say that what you're describing is fairly annoying. It's okay to add a few plot twists to a game or movie, but too many of them start to be more annoying than clever.

It's something that I now know to look out for in every quest. Granted, I've played the game so many different times that I know the line of most of the quests by memory. Even if someone turns on me, I usually end up having my revenge. After the quest ends, at some point ill kill them just for kicks haha

Yeah, it's gotten to the point that on the couple of quests where you have to escort someone through a dungeon (like the one on Solstheim, or the one where you have to solve the tone puzzle) I really expect at the end to be ambushed by them. So when they don't I'm left standing with my weapon out and it's kind of awkward haha.
