Share on facebook, twitter advertise on YouTube, spam the shitout of internet with the link, take photos upload em in internet add the link on the name and phew, that is all i can think xD
lol yeah but we need something major. if we could have adds for our forum on youtube.com that would be awesome. probably really hard to do so though.
I believe Spitfire already suggested some sort of commercial movie for the forum that we could post on youtube. Wait, haven't we already done this..?
well honestly i dont know anyhting about this. i guess we can make more videos for our youtube channel?
There is one "video" on Youtube, but it's basically a still image with music. Maybe if someone could make one which uses clips from the gameplay we have so far, and then break it up with moving text (slowly zooming in or whatever). Kinda like the Witcher 2 "New Elements" trailer (a very well-made trailer!)
Someone needs to get Twitter active, but to be honest if there is no content to tweet then the forum will remain slightly inactive. Even the official Metro Video game don't tweet a lot, which is a shame.
Metro 2033 doesn't have modding or multiplayer or open-world mechanics, so there's a lot less to talk about than other similar games. This forum needs a draw. Something special. I don't know what, mind you.
But instead it has one of the best storytelling and atmosphere out there to talk about Back on topic I don't realy know how to make the forum more popular then those that has been said, which is to spam it on facebook and other sites and spread it out to our buddies.
maybe some of us may upload soem fan-made video on the youtube and put the Last Light Forums banner in a corner....
Thats a great idea. When my channel is up and running again (this weekend) I will be sure to do my best to promote the forum in anyway I can. Teddy and I have been mustering up a "Metro Network" on youtube. Trying to promote both the game and us as youtubers. Including the forum in this could be a way to attract more forum users. I'm sure Luster wouldn't mind If I started linking the forum on youtube.
What Cheaptricks said, AND I'm fairly sure the "Q&A" on this forum has been huge in bringing new people.
