I liked it. Especially the ending. Its common knowledge that gigantic, tumourous masses of cyborg foetus can only make a movie better.
Yeah, this was one of my first experiences with anime. I was around 15 when I saw it, so I can't remember too much. It was interesting in that it got into the mind of the characters (like that guy spills his guts). It was pretty scary, though, and a little twisted. Maybe I was just too young to appreciate it?
Watched this with my brother yesterday. Although I'm not a fan of most anime, I enjoyed this one very much. I loved the mix of cyberpunk and post-apocalyptic themes, but I wasn't a fan of all the weird stuff in the last few parts of the movie. It was good, but a bit over-the-top and out of place in my opinion. Still, a very good anime overall.
